Summer Family Photos – Howard County Conservancy

Pulling up to the Howard County Conservancy for family photos, doesn’t seem to be getting old for me. You know what else isn’t getting old? Photographing friends. It’s the best. Watching them grow, their lives change – it’s everything to me. It’s how my business started – photographing friends and family members because they trusted me to capture them honestly. I must say, in the beginning there was a lot of “everyone smile here” poses. The older I get, I realize although those photos are necessary, they aren’t the ones I love the most. It’s Lindsay’s sweet five year old daughter playing with her in a golden field on a summer evening. It’s the smiles and the laughing, enjoying spending time together even if you are getting your photos taken. I want all of those moments in the galleries I send to clients. Their the ones everyone should have to pass down to their kids, there is nothing sweeter!

The Howard County Conservancy is a beautiful place that I just can’t get enough of. If someone from the Howard County area asks me for photo location recommendations – that’s where I send them! If you haven’t been there, pack a lunch and take the kiddos! They have endless amounts of educational events and you can also make up your own adventures when you go!
