This wedding day started and ended the same way, full of smiles. From the second I stepped into the bridal suite, you could feel it. Joy was everywhere! Stephanie and Mikey weren’t the only one’s excited about today, but it was obvious that their families were, too. There were family members flown in from all over the country just to come and witness the bond that these two clearly have. It’s in the way they look at each other, the way they work together, and the way they love one another. They both have been anticipating this day since the moment Mikey popped the question and it has been worth the wait! During the family formals, I know I couldn’t stop telling everyone how lucky they were to have such a big group! Right after the ceremony we did a group shot and I know it was my largest group to date! How lucky are Mike and Stephanie to have that much love in their lives? Very! Speaking of love, Stephanie and Mike’s moms are some of the sweetest ladies I have ever worked for! Seeing them too work together to make this day happen for their children was so beautiful! It is more than clear that they love their babies!
The day was full of beautiful details, laughter, and smiles! During the toasts, Stephanie’s mom, Karen, told the story about Stephanie’s necklace. The necklace was from Old Ellicott City, and was buried under the mud a debrisĀ from last years flood – and survived! She explained to everyone how the necklace was a symbol for Stephanie and Mike’s relationship, always enduring and strong. It was so moving and you could tell that everyone agreed!
Although the weather was warmer than they had anticipated, it was sunny and the venue was gorgeous! I have never worked at Savage Mill Manor House before, but it did not disappoint! It was full of beautiful antique charm with the most amazing staircase and it was my kind of place! So glad they chose that venue, it fit them so well!
Stephanie and Mike, I am so honored to be apart of your day. You have the sweetest family and your are so blessed! I wish you guys a lifetime of happiness, fulfilled dreams, and strength to weather all of the storms!
