Meghan & Spencer – Annapolis Engagement

Well, it’s that time of year again – engagement photo season! I am sure glad I got to kick it off with Spencer & Meghan! It’s been a while since I shot engagement photos in downtown Annapolis and I was quickly reminded of why everyone loves that historic town. Meghan grew up in Severna Park and told me stories about her time spent downtown during her high school years as we circled the block – but i’m going to keep those to myself! 😉 It seems everyone has their own memories of Annapolis, whether they lived there or just day-tripped there during the summer, like I did. We had planned to meet at the waterfront, but I knew it was going to be impossible the moment I stepped outside that morning! It was the most incredibly cool and perfect July day and EVERYONE was going to be downtown! So I found another address a few blocks over with the most beautiful houses and fences – both of which are so easy to come by in Annapolis, Maryland. I’m pretty sure beauty is a standard down there!

This was the first time I had met Meghan and Spencer. Most of my clients come from word of mouth, and I usually know them – but not Meghan and Spencer! They found my information online and reached out – and right after our first phone call I knew this would be a great fit! Meghan is what i’d call an “ideal bride” (like all of my brides!), she has a smile that is contagious, has a great connection with her hubby, and values family! All things that I strive to have, everyday! I am so honored to be capturing their big day this October (again, we’re a perfect match 😉 ) at Spencer’s family home and can’t wait to share those intimate moments with you guys!
