Pulling into the driveway for this Maryland estate engagement photos and my heart was swooning! I hadn’t even met them yet but deep down inside I just knew, these were my kind of people. Salt of the earth, family loving kind of folks. We chose their wedding location, the brides historic family estate (see what I mean?!?) for their engagement photos and it also served as a sort of wedding walkthrough. Not only did I get to envision their wedding day but I quickly got a sense of just how special this wedding was going to be. Annie Stuart and Page chose Annie Stuarts Grandmothers birthday as their wedding date, her family’s cherished property, and to tie it all in a bow – their love story. Annie Stuart & Page’s families are friends and it just doesn’t get any sweeter. After their engagement session I sat in a cozy den with them, her mom, Aunt, and his mom and we chatted all about the wedding while the fire place was burning. It was the sweetest conversation and I could’ve stayed all night. Annie Stuart told me how she had Page’s parent’s wedding day portrait in the foyer of her home growing up and never knew who they were – so funny! Little did they know their parent’s friendship would be cemented together forever through the marriage of their children. What a legacy!
For their Maryland Estate engagement photos we walked through the property and I was in awe of just how photogenic the farm was. They told me family stories, took me to the spot their proposal was for a few photos, and we captured their love just perfectly. I cannot wait for their Maryland estate wedding in October! It’s going a gorgeous tented backyard with Lemon and Lime Events and a live 11 piece band! A celebration fit for this new marriage!
