Gabi and Zach’s engagement session was at one of my favorite locations to shoot at, the Howard County Conservancy. Howard County maintains this property so beautifully and uses it to teach others about the importance of the environment we live in. Gabi told me she wanted a fall, country feel to their photos and I couldn’t think of a better place for their engagement portraits! When I first arrived at the conservancy, it was overcast and I was discouraged. If you’ve had your photos taken from me before than you know how much I value light (especially glowy light!) in my photographs! But Gabi was so optimistic that the shoot would turn out so well, just like a cloudy fall day should – and it did! Everything was perfect about their engagement shoot! Gabi and Zach aren’t used to having their photos taken, but were naturals in front of the camera! Gabi reminded me of just how lucky I am to have the sweetest, most beautiful brides ever! She is easily one of the prettiest girls I know and has a personality that lights up any room! Zach is a lucky guy, they were clearly meant for each other! We chatted about their plans for their wedding (which is going to be a blast) and made plans to hang out this week! I feel like the luckiest wedding photographer ever, and you can see why here! Enjoy some of my favorites from their intimate autumn engagement shoot!
