This Annapolis Engagement session is one for the books! We got so lucky with the weather this day! In typical Maryland fashion, the weather looked iffy all day. I knew Rebecca had hoped for my signature light-filled portraits so I was hesitant to shoot with overcast skies. In the morning we decided it would be her call and we would make the decision by 4pm. We ended up going for it and as I was driving down 97, 30 minutes before the session, every cloud in the sky disappeared! MIRACLES Y’ALL!
Annapolis was the perfect spot for their portraits as they love it downtown and spend a lot of time there. It wasn’t long before they had not only figured out the posing, but which ones were their favorite! I’m not sure if it’s Rebecca’s contagious laughter (that put the biggest smile on Dustins face!) that made their session so fun and light hearted, or the fact that they’re naturals! We explored Annapolis, took photos at the State House and ended their session at the Annapolis docks!
I met Rebecca and Dustin at Rebecca’s sisters wedding in the fall of 2017. Since then, her sister and I became good friends bonding over the nuances and joys of motherhood. Still, I was so shocked and thrilled when Rebecca reached out to me to shoot her wedding – what an honor! Dustin and Rebecca are not only really easy to photograph (you’ll see what I mean) but they are so much fun to be around! Did I mention they are apart of wine clubs?!? Um, YES! One of their favorite things to do is visit local wineries, taste test everything, and take a bottle for a picnic – so fun and romantic! It was only appropriate that they would pick a winery for their wedding next May! Enjoy a few of the favorite’s from their Annapolis Engagement Photos and check out how cute their pups are!
