Maryland Family Photographer – Abell Family

That feeling I get when i’m walking up the sidewalk and the little ones are peeping out the window at me just makes me so thankful to be a Maryland family photographer. It’s the moments during the session where the kiddos want to show me their rooms, tell me about their favorite stuffed bear, and offer me a spot on the couch beside them. The texts following from their mothers thanking me for my patience and “doing this for them”. My response – ANYTIME! Like when can I come back? I truly don’t know of a better way to serve the families of Maryland than to take family photos in their homes, where they feel most comfortable and well served. At the end of every session I always thank the kids for letting me come over to play with them. Their big smiles and thank yous just say it all.

This session was nothing short of all the good things ever session should be filled with. Laughter, adorable kid smiles, an abundance of patience, and most importantly – photographs that reflect who the families truly are. The photo of the kids jumping in the crib together pulls at my heart strings and brings up memories with my own siblings. I take my own experiences and memories with me to every session and use those to inspire me to capture likewise portraits. Sweet celebratory moments that feel like the joy of everyday.
