When they told me their wedding venue was Cloisters Castle, I thought – A real castle?! I honestly didn’t know what to expect with Cloisters and it simply blew me away. Of course my expectations were very much full of dragons and renaissance dressed guests but that is far from Molly & Greg’s laid back personalities! When Chelsea and I (shout out to the best second shooter, ever!) showed up at Cloisters, we knew it was going to be a gorgeous spring wedding! Molly had all of her vintage details set up, ready to go and I was blown away! The flowers arrived swiftly, the planner was putting everything in its place and the catering was filling Cloisters with the most delicious smells!
Although I usually prefer sunshine and light-filled bridal portraits, I am so glad we had mostly overcast skies! It allowed us to shoot in more locations around Cloisters with a soft, romantic feel to their portraits. Luckily, we had created enough time in the day for portraits and they were able to get even more than we were expecting! They were even able to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests, such a laid back day! OH, and did I mention they ended the night with a waffle bar?!?
Molly & Greg were set up on a blind date by his Aunt Patty! Molly & Aunt Patty worked together at an elementary school and knew these two would be a good fit! On the behalf of everyone, I think it’s safe to say we are super thankful to matching these two up together! Molly & Greg, I hope you guys have a joy-filled life together, it was an honor to be your photographer at Cloisters Castle!
