A few months ago I replied to Rukiya inquiring online about family portraits in Pasadena! Little did I know that she had family flying in from all over the country for on one weekend that I just happened to have availability for! I don’t know how families like the Miller’s live hundred of miles apart from each other and still manage to come together and act like there is no distance between them at all. They certainly are blessed! I have been fortunate enough to have most of my family right here in town, some literally across the driveway! It’s just a testament to family when you set aside time every year to visit, love, and encourage one another. What better way to do that then with family portraits? I asked the ladies what they do to stay in touch and of course, they group text everything! My family started doing this after we lost my Memmom in 2015 and I have loved it! Even on my busiest days I can go back to that group text at night and see how everyone’s day was – and it keeps us all close, even if we are far.
After months of setting this up and waiting, I met with the Miller’s at Downs Memorial Park in Pasadena, Maryland for some much need group pictures! I had never met them and they welcomed me with open arms (my ideal clients, of course!) I was honored to capture these portraits of Randy, Teresa, their children, and their adorable grandchildren! They boys were extra boyish and the girls were the sweetest of course! I can’t wait to meet up with them when they’re all in town again!
